About Me
No matter the problem, I can help. I bring a calming presence to chaos because I’m not phased by it.
As I grow up, I still regularly ask myself what I’d like to do when I’m older. At nearly 40 years old, I still don’t know the answer to that question.
I don’t know the answer because I genuinely don’t believe a job title exists to match what I do. I just enjoy fixing really big problems.
So I created a job title. The Problem Fixer. Specifically, your problem fixer.
It started when my Mum gave me a Galt metal puzzles kit as a child. I would play with it for hours, trying to undo all of the twisted pieces of metal from one another.
It’s still how I approach every single challenge – I imagine the parts of the problem and figure out in my mind where they are tangled.
I analyse any personalities, bureaucracy, or other hurdles that may be involved.
Then, I pinpoint my starting position. And I don’t give up. Because my motto is that if I am not dead, and you are not dead, then everything is fixable.
Having worked in extremely high pressure environments for the vast majority of my life (in global news media and banking), I truly understand the demands on busy peoples time, and the need to create as much space in your day as possible.
There is no credit card for time. And your time is priceless.
If your tasks can’t be automated, and need a real brain that can think, feel, and apply human logic, then get in touch with me.
I can help. I bring a calming presence to chaos because I’m not phased by it.
I am experienced and efficient; polite but not a push-over; conscientious but light hearted; I have access to excellent research resources and the ability to assimilate fast; I have a strong network; and a small, kind and dedicated team.
